This album was written in the middle of life changing events for WYWG:

Right after the leaving of former guitarist Ryan Holm, which came as a huge shock us, and even bigger than that was the marriage of vocalist Misty and guitarist Anthony Moore.

The stress and excitement of those 2 events is what made Winter/Summer the passionate project it turned out to be. Most of the record is about the love between Misty & Anthony, with one song about the departing of Ryan.

One more cool little fact about the record, about 80% of this entire record was tracked in Anthony & Misty's Pasadena, TX apartment. The only thing we didn't record at home are some guitars and the drums. Those we recorded in our practice space located in Anthony and Johns parent's garage.

This is a record about love and loss. We hope you enjoy listening to these songs as much as we enjoyed writing and recording them.
